Upon her arrival at the villa on June 21, a Snapchat video emerged showing Keyser singing along to a song that contained the N-word, believed to be Roddy Ricch’s track “The Box.” Love Island USA narrator Iain Stirling announced her sudden departure during the latest episode, stating, “Alannah has left Casa Amor.”
Following her initial appearance where she seemed to connect with contestant Zach Georgiou, fans noticed a decrease in Keyser’s screen time, with some even observing her absence from a recent episode. This incident is not isolated to this season, as similar occurrences have happened before in the franchise.
In a familiar pattern, Peacock had to remove Vasana Montgomery from Season 8 before it aired after clips of her using a racial slur resurfaced. This season, Keyser’s removal echoes past instances where contestants faced consequences for inappropriate behavior.
