The remake of “The Littlest Hobo” was disclosed as part of Bell Media’s upcoming screen projects, set to be a live-action scripted series.
The show is a revival of the cherished Canadian series that originally aired from 1979 to 1985, revolving around a smart and homeless German shepherd that roams towns, offering assistance to those in need. The series is known for its upbeat theme song, “Maybe Tomorrow,” performed and co-written by Canadian artist Terry Bush.
Rogen and Goldberg, who described “The Littlest Hobo” as a fundamental part of their childhood, expressed their enthusiasm for reimagining the show for a new generation. They assured fans that while the hobo character will remain small in size, the adventures portrayed in the series will be grand in scale.
