The family described his death as a sudden event, expressing their sorrow at the loss. Norris, born Carlos Ray Norris in 1940 in Ryan, Okla., rose to fame through his exceptional skills in competitive martial arts before transitioning into a successful career in movies and television.

Having achieved significant milestones in the martial arts world, including being a six-time undefeated World Professional Middleweight Karate champion, Norris founded his own style of karate, known as chun kuk do, and established the United Fighting Arts Federation. His martial arts prowess led him to hold a 10th-degree black belt, a prestigious honor in the martial arts community.
