Additionally, permits for the maintenance and operation of existing pipelines at border sites have been authorized for various companies. These permits include allowing the Bakken Pipeline Company to manage and uphold current pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota, as well as granting Enbridge Energy the rights to operate and maintain existing pipeline infrastructures in St. Clair County, Michigan, and Pembina County, North Dakota.
