Three suicide bombers attacked the headquarters of a Pakistani paramilitary force, resulting in three personnel killed and five wounded as confirmed by authorities. The incident occurred in Peshawar city, where the attackers initiated gunfire upon entering the Federal Constabulary headquarters before detonating explosives within the premises, according to police sources.

Deputy Commandant Javed Iqbal stated that three paramilitary personnel lost their lives during the assault. An anonymous senior official revealed that one of the suicide bombers targeted the main entrance, while the others infiltrated the compound. Security forces, including the army and police, have surrounded the area to manage the situation cautiously, suspecting the presence of additional terrorists within the headquarters.

The headquarters, situated in a densely populated region of Peshawar, has been secured by army, police, and security personnel, with the area cordoned off to traffic. Eyewitness Safdar Khan reported the closure of the road for security measures. The injured individuals, including two paramilitary staff members, were promptly transported to Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment.

As of now, no militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Recent weeks have witnessed an escalation in attacks by Islamist militants following deadly border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan has accused the Afghan Taliban of sheltering these militants who allegedly conduct cross-border assaults, a claim refuted by Kabul.
