Taylor Swift enthusiasts will soon have the opportunity to experience the last show of the singer’s highly successful Eras Tour in Vancouver from last December. A new movie titled “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show” is set to debut on Disney+, showcasing a complete concert film of Swift’s concluding performance at B.C. Place. Additionally, a six-episode docuseries detailing the tour will accompany the movie, with the initial two episodes premiering on December 12.
The Eras Tour, spanning 149 shows over 20 months, concluded in Canada after captivating over 10 million fans in 19 different countries. Fans began suspecting the existence of a film after observing a camera crew documenting Swift’s final three shows in Vancouver. Notably, Swift confirmed that the title track of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” concludes with the crowd noise from the sold-out B.C. Place concert, emphasizing the significance of the tour in inspiring her latest album.
Scheduled for release one day prior to Swift’s 36th birthday, the new concert feature is distinct from the 2023 film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which preceded the release of her 11th album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” While the initially released concert film did not include the era added in May 2024, it will be incorporated into the forthcoming movie on December 12.
