“Cardi B Urges Hamilton Fans: Don’t Miss Out on Sold-Out Streak!”

Cardi B is taking her Canadian fans seriously, especially those in Hamilton. The Grammy-winning rapper, currently on her Little Miss Drama Tour in North America, expressed concern that while most tour dates are selling out, the Hamilton show on March 31 is lagging behind in ticket sales.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Cardi B playfully warned her Hamilton fans not to break her streak of sold-out shows, emphasizing the need to purchase tickets. She noted that most tour dates are nearly sold out, with the Hamilton show at TD Coliseum only reaching about 80% in ticket sales so far.

Ticket availability maps on Ticketmaster show numerous seats still open for the Hamilton date, while only a few scattered seats remain for the Toronto show on March 30. Other upcoming concerts in cities like Kansas City, Chicago, and Newark also have limited seats left.

Despite efforts to verify ticket sales percentages with Ticketmaster, CBC News has not received a response. Ticket prices for the Hamilton show start at around $118, while Toronto tickets are priced higher, with some resale options available.

Cardi B previously made history by selling out multiple nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and has seen sold-out performances in various cities on her tour. She also issued a similar warning to Vancouver fans, resulting in a sold-out show there.

Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath affirmed the city’s love for music, despite the slow ticket sales for Cardi B’s show. Local artist and community organizer Leon (Eklipz) Robinson attributed the ticket sales challenge to rising living costs, suggesting that Cardi B’s callout may boost sales.

With tour stops remaining in Chicago and New York City before heading to Toronto and Hamilton, Cardi B’s fans have the opportunity to catch her live in concert.
