One of the standout moments from the popular TV show “Heated Rivalry” – “I’m coming to the cottage” – is set to become a reality for fans as the lakefront property featured in the season finale will be available for bookings on Airbnb. The Barlochan cottage, a three-bedroom retreat located in Muskoka Lakes, Ontario, where the characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov spend a transformative summer, will open its doors to guests starting March 3.
Known for its stunning lake views and floor-to-ceiling windows, the cottage has been a focal point of fan discussions since its appearance on the show. Guests can reserve weekend stays at the cottage from March to May for $248.10 Cdn per night, honoring the jersey numbers of the protagonists – 24 and 81. Reservations for the summer season starting June 1 will have pricing details announced later.
The property’s owner, who chose to remain anonymous, collaborated with Airbnb to make the listing possible. In celebration of the cottage’s debut on Airbnb, the company will contribute to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka, supporting children from underprivileged backgrounds in the region. The exact donation amount was not disclosed.
